The Orchard is a separate area that we use as a grazing area for many of the ducks. There is also a small compound close to it with shelter.
Thomas uses it daily at the moment.

Thomas is the face on our banner and is the largest of our Muscovy Ducks. We don't know exactly how old he is but he's at least eight years old. He is a lovely chap and used to live with our female ducks but he suddenly decided to take a dislike to one of them. Being much smaller than he, we decided to take him from that compound and let him live in the small run until the spring. He comes out daily into the Orchard where he can watch over his lady friends safely. Thomas really knows his name and is so excited when you talk to him, he has such a cheeky face, you can't help but want to cuddle him ... He is not likely to reciprocate the gesture!
He always loves people to talk to him and is very photogenic, often posing to have his photo taken.
